Global Terms of Use, Consent, Risk Notice and Regional Legal Information
These terms are written to create a broad international framework for use of Nordic Work Bridge across multiple markets, including Europe, the Nordics, Eastern Europe, and parts of Asia. They are intended to be strong and comprehensive, but local mandatory law may still apply and override certain clauses where required.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using Nordic Work Bridge, creating an account, posting a job, registering as a worker, uploading a CV, submitting personal or business details, communicating through the platform, or continuing to browse the website, you agree to be bound by these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms in full, you must not use the platform.
Acceptance may be given by express checkbox consent, account registration, continued use, submission of forms, or any other action showing clear agreement to use the platform.
2. Nature and purpose of the platform
Nordic Work Bridge is a digital platform intended to support visibility, recruitment-related contact, workforce presentation, employer access, candidate discovery, profile handling, and related commercial or informational services.
The platform may operate as a marketplace-style, recruitment-support, contact, listing, visibility, or communication service. Unless expressly stated in writing for a specific service, Nordic Work Bridge is not the legal employer, staffing agency, immigration sponsor, payroll provider, contracting counterparty, guarantor, or legal representative of any user.
3. No guarantee of results
Nordic Work Bridge makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee regarding hiring, interviews, placements, job offers, response rates, worker quality, employer legitimacy, legal eligibility, visas, permits, residence rights, relocation approval, salary level, employment conditions, tax treatment, or commercial outcomes.
Any use of the platform is at the user’s own risk, commercial judgment, and legal responsibility.
4. User eligibility and legal capacity
By using the platform, you confirm that you have legal capacity to enter into binding terms under the law that applies to you. If you use the platform on behalf of a company, agency, employer, recruiter, intermediary, or other legal entity, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that entity.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the platform is lawful in your jurisdiction.
5. User responsibility and prohibited conduct
You are fully responsible for all content, files, data, statements, claims, job listings, worker profiles, contact details, contracts, representations, and communications you upload, publish, transmit, or otherwise make available through the platform.
- You must not submit false, incomplete, misleading, unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive information.
- You must not impersonate another person, company, institution, or authority.
- You must not post discriminatory, abusive, threatening, defamatory, sexually explicit, hateful, violent, illegal, or harmful content.
- You must not upload viruses, malware, bots, scraping tools, spam, auto-submission tools, or exploit code.
- You must not use the platform for illegal recruitment, trafficking, unlawful labor arrangements, sham contracting, or unlawful immigration-related conduct.
- You must not harvest, sell, scrape, mirror, republish, or commercially exploit platform data or user data without written permission.
- You must not request or require unlawful fees, hidden payments, illegal deposits, or exploitative recruitment charges.
6. Consent to submission, storage and processing
By submitting any information to Nordic Work Bridge, you consent to the platform receiving, storing, structuring, indexing, reviewing, moderating, formatting, reproducing, transferring internally, displaying where relevant, and processing your submission for platform operation, account administration, recruitment-related services, commercial support, communication, user safety, fraud prevention, moderation, system analytics, troubleshooting, quality control, legal compliance, and service development.
You understand that data may be handled by systems, staff, authorized service providers, hosting providers, security tools, and other operational tools necessary to run the service.
You confirm that you have legal authority to provide any personal, business, or third-party information you submit.
7. Uploaded content, rights and license
Where legally permitted, you retain ownership of content you upload. However, by uploading it, you grant Nordic Work Bridge a broad, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to host, store, reproduce, adapt, reformat, publish, display, transmit, moderate, and otherwise process that content to the extent reasonably necessary for operation, administration, security, promotion of your listing or profile, search display, technical delivery, and related platform purposes.
Nordic Work Bridge may remove, refuse, suspend, edit, restrict, or permanently delete content at its own discretion where necessary for legal, security, operational, moderation, reputational, quality, or business reasons.
8. Worker and employer relationships
Nordic Work Bridge is not responsible for user-to-user dealings, including screening, hiring, rejections, interviews, salary negotiations, contracts, relocation processes, onboarding, labor conditions, terminations, or disputes.
Any employment, staffing, freelance, consulting, supplier, contractor, or relocation relationship is solely between the relevant parties unless Nordic Work Bridge expressly agrees otherwise in a separate written contract.
9. Immigration, relocation and cross-border activity
Nordic Work Bridge does not promise eligibility for work permits, visas, residence permissions, recognition of qualifications, tax registration, social security, relocation approval, travel approval, border admission, or local employment compliance.
Each user is solely responsible for checking immigration, employment, tax, licensing, health and safety, insurance, and documentation requirements applicable to the worker, employer, project, role, and destination country.
10. No legal, regulatory or professional advice
Nothing on the platform constitutes legal advice, labor law advice, privacy law advice, tax advice, immigration advice, visa advice, professional licensing advice, or regulatory certification.
Users remain responsible for obtaining qualified local legal and professional advice before relying on any listing, profile, transaction, hire, or cross-border arrangement.
11. Verification, moderation and enforcement
Nordic Work Bridge may, but is not required to, review accounts, request identification, request company documents, verify users, moderate content, limit exposure, suspend features, reject uploads, or remove users for any reason related to safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, integrity, business risk, or platform quality.
Failure to verify a user does not mean the user is safe, lawful, legitimate, solvent, qualified, or suitable. Users must still carry out their own checks.
12. Account security and user systems
You are responsible for passwords, internal access control, browser security, devices, uploaded files, and account activity. Nordic Work Bridge is not responsible for losses caused by compromised credentials, weak password practices, user negligence, phishing, malware on your device, or unauthorized use of credentials where caused outside the platform’s direct control.
13. Third-party systems and external tools
The platform may rely on hosting providers, anti-spam services, payment tools, email tools, analytics tools, plugins, APIs, AI systems, or other third-party technology. Nordic Work Bridge is not responsible for third-party downtime, API failures, plugin conflicts, browser incompatibilities, data routing issues, or provider-side outages beyond its reasonable control.
14. Platform availability and technical disclaimer
The platform is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nordic Work Bridge does not guarantee uninterrupted access, perfect availability, flawless display, compatibility with all themes or plugins, continuous storage, or permanent retention of user content.
Any feature, form, listing structure, subscription, visibility logic, profile layout, or access model may be changed, suspended, or removed without notice.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nordic Work Bridge and its owners, operators, affiliates, contractors, developers, partners, and service providers shall not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, reputational, commercial, contractual, regulatory, immigration-related, tax-related, data-related, employment-related, or consequential losses arising out of or connected with use of the platform.
This includes, without limitation, failed recruitment, bad hires, worker misconduct, employer misconduct, unlawful user content, migration failures, lost data, downtime, security incidents, browser/plugin conflicts, listing issues, failed contact attempts, or business loss.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it shall be limited to the minimum extent permitted by applicable law.
16. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Nordic Work Bridge, its owners, affiliates, contractors, staff, and service providers against claims, complaints, losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, investigations, costs, and expenses arising out of your use of the platform, your content, your legal non-compliance, your hiring decisions, your recruitment conduct, your contracts, or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
17. Consumer, commercial and mandatory law reservation
Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be waived under mandatory law. Where a local law requires a different standard, process, disclosure, or liability rule, that mandatory law shall prevail only to the extent required, and the rest of these terms shall continue in force.
18. Regional legal information
Because users may come from different jurisdictions, the following regional sections are included as additional notices. These are supplementary and do not replace mandatory local legal review.
European Union and EEA
Users in the European Union and EEA may be subject to mandatory consumer, contract, employment, platform, marketing, and privacy rules. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable mandatory law.
Where the platform handles personal data, additional privacy and data handling requirements may apply. Cross-border recruitment, worker classification, and labor intermediation may also be regulated differently across member states.
Norway
Users operating in or toward Norway remain responsible for compliance with mandatory Norwegian rules on employment, staffing, worker rights, hiring practices, marketing, contracts, and privacy. Nordic Work Bridge does not guarantee that any worker, listing, arrangement, or relocation pathway complies with Norwegian law.
Employers and intermediaries are solely responsible for checking hiring basis, sector restrictions, worker classification, wage rules, documentation duties, and any requirements connected to foreign workers.
Eastern Europe and cross-border recruitment from Eastern Europe
Users recruiting from or operating in Eastern European jurisdictions remain solely responsible for national labor rules, agency licensing requirements, migration permissions, posting rules, tax obligations, benefit obligations, and document validity.
Nordic Work Bridge does not verify that qualifications, IDs, permits, certificates, educational records, medical records, or work rights are valid, recognized, or sufficient for another country unless expressly stated in writing.
Asia general market notice
Asian markets may involve very different local rules on recruitment, data handling, labor supply, contracting, worker export, licensing, screening, sponsorship, language requirements, and local registration. Users remain responsible for all local approvals, permits, disclosures, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
Where local law restricts labor brokerage, data export, digital recruitment, or employer-worker matching, the user must ensure compliance before using the platform for such purpose.
United Kingdom
Users operating in relation to the United Kingdom remain solely responsible for compliance with UK-specific employment, recruitment, consumer, and privacy rules, including where mandatory law applies to platform conduct, marketing, contracts, or worker engagement.
United States and Canada
Users in the United States and Canada are responsible for state, provincial, federal, and local requirements. Recruitment, classification, immigration, marketing, privacy, and anti-discrimination rules may differ materially between locations. Nordic Work Bridge does not undertake to harmonize or guarantee compliance across these jurisdictions.
Middle East and Gulf markets
Users targeting Gulf or Middle Eastern markets remain responsible for visa sponsorship structures, employer registration rules, permit models, local hiring quotas, sector rules, worker documentation, accommodation rules, and country-specific labor requirements.
Africa and Latin America general notice
Users operating toward African and Latin American markets remain responsible for local labor, commercial, immigration, privacy, and consumer frameworks, which may differ substantially between countries and sectors. Platform use does not replace local legal or operational review.
19. Governing law and dispute approach
To the extent legally permitted, these terms shall be interpreted under the law chosen by Nordic Work Bridge for its platform operation, without prejudice to mandatory local rights that cannot be excluded.
Nordic Work Bridge may require disputes to be handled in a chosen forum or jurisdiction where legally valid. However, where mandatory consumer or other non-waivable rules require a different forum, those mandatory rules may apply.
Insert your preferred governing law and venue only after legal review.
20. Suspension, restriction and termination
Nordic Work Bridge may suspend, restrict, hide, remove, refuse, terminate, or permanently delete any account, listing, upload, message, company profile, worker profile, or platform access at any time where deemed necessary for safety, legal risk, moderation, maintenance, abuse prevention, unpaid services, breach of terms, suspected fraud, reputational concerns, or commercial reasons.
21. Changes to these terms
Nordic Work Bridge may update, expand, replace, or restate these terms at any time. The newest version made available on the website will apply from publication unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
